Terms of sale

These terms are provided in English for convenience. For customers in Quebec, the French version at /conditions governs where the law requires it.

1. Who sells

The Fantômes service is sold by Rémi Paquin, who operates the business “Fantômes”. Address: 219 rue du Havre, Saint-Colomban (Québec) J5K 2V8. Email: fantomes.contact.qc@gmail.com.

2. What you are buying

Fantômes helps you spot recurring charges in your bank or credit card statements: a list ranked by yearly cost, a template cancellation letter for each, and the total you save. Your statements are read in your browser.

Fantômes does not contact any merchant and does not cancel anything for you: it is up to you to send the letter or cancel. Results are produced automatically and may contain errors or omissions: check each charge before cancelling. The service is not financial or legal advice, and the letters are templates to adapt.

3. Price and payment

The price is $19 CAD, in a single payment. There is no subscription or renewal. No sales tax is charged: the seller is not registered for GST/QST.

Payment is by card, on Stripe’s secure page. We never see or keep your card number.

4. Delivery

After you pay, you are sent back to the tool, where your full list and cancellation letters appear right away. Nothing is sent by email. If the automatic return doesn’t work, write to fantomes.contact.qc@gmail.com with the email address you paid with and we will give you access.

The service is offered in French and English.

5. 30-day money-back guarantee

If the audit isn’t for you, write to fantomes.contact.qc@gmail.com within 30 days of your purchase, with the email address you paid with. You don’t have to explain. We start the refund of the price paid within 3 business days of your request, to the card used. Your bank may then take a few days to show it.

This guarantee is in addition to the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for decisions you make based on the results (for example cancelling a service you actually needed) or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law does not allow to be limited.

7. Intellectual property

The site, its text and its design belong to the seller. You may use the generated letters for your own needs.

8. Changes

These terms may change. The version in force when you buy applies to that purchase.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes fall to the courts of Quebec, subject to your rights as a consumer under the law of the place where you live.
